GIVING
The Lantern for Strays
My quiet giving program
The Lantern for Strays is my ongoing commitment to supporting cat shelters and selected animal-welfare organizations. Each year, I direct a portion of my revenue to no-kill shelters, long-term sanctuaries, and programs that care for vulnerable or elderly animals, including those who have nowhere to go when their owners pass away.
My focus is on places where the care is sincere, transparent, and directly impactful.
2025 · Recipients
This year I contributed to Nabiya Saranghae, a privately run, non-government-funded cat shelter based in the Republic of Korea. Nabiya Saranghae rescues abandoned, stray, abused, and injured cats, provides medical care and rehabilitation, and runs a long-term sanctuary for vulnerable, elderly, and disabled cats, working to find permanent homes for those who can be adopted.
I also contributed to Les Amis d'Aramis, a French nonprofit sanctuary dedicated to cats who are elderly, disabled, chronically ill, or otherwise considered non-adoptable. Les Amis d'Aramis provides lifelong care rather than temporary rescue, offering safety, medical attention, and dignity to cats who would otherwise be left without options, including those whose guardians have passed away.
